Accessible Toilet Works

Big things are happening at BlueJam! We have dreamed for years of making an accessible toilet and baby change facility in our listed building, to ensure that everyone is able to take part in BlueJam activities. Now, thanks to generous funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Rural England Prosperity Fund via the Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership (on behalf of Cumberland Council), our dreams can come true!

We’d like to thank all the groups who use our building for your patience with the temporary toilet arrangements and it’s great to hear your excitement and support for the new opportunities these changes will bring. It is fantastic to work with a local builder who understands community groups and what we stand for and to have such a supportive landlady.
