Parent Sing

Parent Sing is a choir that welcomes parents and carers to come with their young ones to sing together! Sessions happens on Fridays, 1.15 – 2.30pm, Mostyn Hall, Penrith. £5 per session. To book a session contact ejarmanpinto@gmail.com. Find out more on our Facebook page.

ParentSing is for you if you feel even just the slightest urge to sing. You may have sung before but struggle to find childcare to attend a choir. You may have always wanted to sing, but feel silenced and a lack of confidence. You may be up for a challenge and want something fun to do for yourself while caring for your child. You may be struggling with your mental health and have heard that singing provides a route towards feeling better. Whatever your reasons, welcome! This is where you can keep up to date with news and events.

Welcome to ParentSing!

I’m Ella Jarman-Pinto and I run ParentSing! I work with mums, dads, grandparents and carers who need that elusive “self-care” time and space, but who don’t have any childcare. I provide expert leadership and a friendly, encouraging environment to enable you to come together as a community, learn new songs and sing your heart out while your children play.

You may be thinking: ‘I can’t sing, no one would want me to join a singing group, I would just ruin it!’ (I’d be a rich woman if I had a penny for everytime someone has said that to me). But I firmly believe that everyone can sing. We may have a different journey from the person next to us, but everyone is capable of raising their voices to the sky and releasing our emotions through music.

So, come and join us on Fridays, 1.15 – 2.30pm, Mostyn Hall, Penrith. £5 per session. Message or email me, Ella, to book: ejarmanpinto@gmail.com

Break out space for toddlers

ParentSing now has a helper who will supervise any of the older children who want to do their own thing in the Toothpaste room next door while the singing goes on.
