Family Jam

Family Jam is a new BlueJam Arts CIC project specially designed to deliver new fun FREE creative experiences to 0-7 year olds and their families in Penrith (and beyond!). This includes regular groups for Under 5s on Tuesday mornings as well as a series of special family events during weekends too.

Tuesday Morning Groups

9:30-10:30am: BabyJam (0-2 year olds)
A friendly exploration of live music, with instruments, musical games, songs and rhymes. This session is aimed at under 2s (and their grown up), or those who would prefer a more gentle session.

10:45-11:45am: MiniJam (2-4 year olds)
A fun, active session for toddlers and pre-schoolers with music, movement, instruments and more! This session is aimed at 2-4 year olds (and their grown up) – or anyone who would prefer a livelier session.

All sessions are hosted at BlueJam Arts Space in Penrith. Please book your place by getting in touch.

Relaxed Concerts 2025

We’re so excited to launch a short series of relaxed concerts, designed for families with young children, in Penrith in March 2025. Lots of people we’ve talked to have said they’d like more family-friendly daytime events and we’re delighted that our FamilyJam funding allows us provide these very relaxed performances throughout March. We hope you can join us! All of these relaxed concerts will be hosted at BlueJam Arts Space (Mostyn Hall, Friargate, Penrith, CA11 7XR).

All concerts are free but booking is essential – please email Sara on sarabarnard@bluejamarts.org to book a place. All ages are welcome, though these concerts are particularly designed for under 8s and their grown ups. Refreshments will be provided.
