Lemon Verbena – Live Concert

On Saturday 15th June (7pm) join composer and vocalist, Ella Jarman-Pinto, and pianist Katharine May, at BlueJam Arts Space for a concert celebrating the launch of the album Lemon Verbena!

Lemon Verbena is an an album that explores and humanises legendary and mythical women who used their various eccentricities to escape the confines of society.

The eight tracks on Lemon Verbena are all inspired by incredible women including Margery Kempe, Julian of Norwich, Julie d’Aubigny, Mary Toft, Jacquotte Delahaye, Ursula K. Le Guinn and many anonymous wise women.

This concert is a rare performance, and will be one of the only places that physical CDs are sold! There will be time for Q&A and Ella will give brief introductions of each of the women who inspired the songs.
