Six primary schools have been involved in the project and in July, 160 talented young people from Armathwaite, Bewcastle, Greystoke, Hayton, North Lakes and Yanwath Primary Schools joined with the Young Roots Group to fill the IMAX cinema at Rheged with singing, jazz, brass, drums, ukuleles as well as film shorts and poetry created by themselves.
Hayton Primary School made their own animation after a visit to Penrith and Eden Museum and Long Meg stone circle. They plotted the stone circle and discovered missing stones using dowsing rods.
